Sheberghan Hash Plant by Khalifa Genetics is a pure Afghan landrace originating from the Jowzjan Province near the city of Sheberghan, a historic Silk Road settlement known for its exceptional sieved hashish. Traditionally cultivated by local farmers of diverse ethnic backgrounds, including Uzbek communities, this landrace is used to produce sweet, fruity, and sticky hashish regarded among the finest in Afghanistan. The Sheberghan Hash Plant produces leafy buds densely coated in resin glands, with both flowers and small leaves displaying thick trichome coverage. It expresses diverse phenotypes with varying cannabinoid ratios, some CBD-dominant, others THC-dominant, and many balanced full-spectrum plants. The aroma combines earthy hash tones with subtle Skunk nuances and a lingering sweet flavor, suggesting high sesquiterpene content. Structurally robust, the plants develop strong branches that seldom require support and typically double in size during the flowering stretch. They are medium feeders, needing more nutrients than most landraces but less than modern hybrids. Adapted for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, Sheberghan Hash Plant tolerates wide temperature fluctuations and thrives under low humidity, mirroring the dry autumn climate of northern Afghanistan. Collected in 2018 by Landrace Genetics and refined by Khalifa Genetics for indoor stability, this cultivar preserves high genetic diversity and stands as a culturally significant variety used for producing traditional Afghan hashish.
