Royal CBDV Automatic is Royal Queen Seeds’ first high-CBDV autoflower and was created by crossing Solomatic CBD with Durban Poison to produce a line that emphasizes cannabidivarin production. The cultivar develops dense, resinous flowers with a cannabinoid profile of ~5% CBDV, ~5% CBD, and ~0.3% THC, accompanied by an earthy, pine terpene character. Indoors, plants remain compact at ~60–80 cm and can yield about 375–450 g/m²; outdoors they typically reach ~80–100 cm and return ~110–150 g per plant. The flowering phase itself lasts approximately 5–6 weeks, and the complete autoflower cycle, from sprout to harvest, finishes in roughly 8–9 weeks. The cultivar is suitable for indoor, outdoor, and cold-climate cultivation, with good tolerance of lower temperatures, and is described as easy to grow for beginners and experienced growers alike. Reported effects are clear-headed, physically relaxing, and energising without intoxication due to the very low THC content. This release marks a notable expansion of RQS’s focus on specialty cannabinoids by delivering fast, reliable CBDV production in an autoflower format.
