Panama by ACE Seeds is a 100 % sativa hybrid combining three Panamanian lines, bred to adapt the legendary Panama Red and Colombian Punto Rojo genetics to modern indoor growing and temperate latitudes. It is available in both regular and feminized formats and is described as one of the most popular and high-yielding sativas in the breeder’s catalog. The plant shows strong vegetative vigor and produces large, dense, trichome-covered flowers often displaying reddish or pink pistils reminiscent of classic Panama Red traits. THC content is listed at 21.47 %, with CBG up to 3 % and CBD null. The terpene profile is dominated by terpinolene (~50 %), with moderate α-pinene, β-pinene, limonene, and myrcene, smaller amounts of trans-ocimene, and the sesquiterpene guaiol. Structure is tall and branched, typical of vigorous American sativas. Flowering indoors takes 9–12 weeks, and outdoor harvest occurs around the third week of October at latitudes up to 45°. The cultivar shows average-high resistance to spider mites, botrytis, and white fly, average resistance to mildew, high heat tolerance, and average-high cold tolerance. Yield is reported as high both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, it thrives under strong light and with ample space, responding well to a 12/12 photoperiod; in smaller spaces or for faster cycles, an 11/13 (light/dark) regime is advised to reduce stretch and encourage earlier flowering. It performs excellently in SOG systems due to its strong main-cola yield and also in SCROG, horizontal, or network growing thanks to its vigorous lateral branching and pruning response. Outdoors, it adapts to both hot climates and mild autumn environments. The psychoactive profile is very powerful, long-lasting, and psychedelic, with red phenotypes tending to deliver denser, heavier effects, while green phenotypes offer a cleaner, more energetic experience. Genetic analysis shows a unique and uncommon genotype of moderate variability, making Panama one of the best pure American sativas available for developing potent, resinous, aromatic, and high-yielding hybrids with strong indoor adaptability.
